Naples, Summer 2020. Garibaldi Metro station. I spot a spectacle of flowers and hair amidst the metal of the escalators and snap a quick photo. Since then, this perfect stranger has kept me company, hanging like a square of spring on my wall. Her colors brighten up my gray days. So, I painted her.
